The Boulder Sound Shop

The Boulder Sound Shop is a Podcast and Digital Audio Production Workshop that is a partnership between Radio 1190, CU's CMCI, the CU Boulder Office for Outreach & Engagement, the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC), the Bartlett Center for Science Communication, and Learn More About Climate (LMAC). The goal is to build an educational foundation and enhanced production facility to learn students on digital production techniques, audio/sound production, podcast creation and development, and more. A first of it's kind at a top U.S. University, the BSS will look to create and set the standard for podcasting and sound design, student engagement in audio production and has a vision to be the launching pad for many creative content ideas and opportunity.
