Undergraduate research assistant working for research professor Alix Contosta in soil biogeochemistry.
My responsibilities include:
• Collaborated with biogeochemical research team to conduct soil and gas sample field work in rigorous outdoor environments using topographic maps and GPS systems.
• Frequent use of lab equipment such as Li-Cor CO2 Analyzer, Shimadzu Electron Capture Detector, Ball Mill Soil Corers, Gas Collection by auto and manual chamber, Cos-Tech Nitrogen Analyzer, microbalances and gas vial ejectors for data analytics.
• Enhanced data integrity and entry through data management and quality control measures.
• Executed time management and adaptability by balancing full course load and working 15hrs/week.
