Mike Honda for Congress

Field Organizer

I was a Field Organizer for the 2014 Mike Honda for Congress campaign, where I managed one of three field offices and structured an ambitious plan for volunteer outreach to high schools and colleges. I recruited forty student volunteers and developed an educational grassroots organizer training, keeping the students engaged throughout the summer and fall while highlighting our efforts on social media. The vote margin we won by in my region was 8%, and the student fellowship program resulted in one of the highest voter outreach rates for any campaign in the country in that year.
