Broward College

Executive Assistant- Associate Vice President of Resource Development

I have the unsurmounted privilege to work directly with Broward College's Associate Vice President of Resource Development. Working hand-in-hand with the advancement team, I assist in carrying out the college's pillars of excellence. Most notably, the Office of Grants Development applied for, and was awarded the largest U.S Department of Labor Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grant in the amount of $24.5M. Broward College leads a consortium of several community colleges and universities across the country to implement degree program which will allow students to pursue stack-able certifications in supply chain management.

Law Office of Howard Schwartz

Administrative Assistant

Howard Schwartz is a CPA, JD, and registered Raymond James financial adviser. His practice specializes in estate planning, investments, probate, financial planning, tax, and bill pay. However, the firm also handles other legal matters, including corporate, real estate, and domestic. As an administrative assistant, I have the responsibility of unifying our team. Because of the diverse nature of our firm, it is imperative that each department is briefed on the status of files in other departments. In this position, my interpersonal and leadership skills are utilized every day. I set up files (both physically and in our firm's electronic database through Microsoft Access), close files, answer multi-line telephone, communicate matters between departments, correspond with clients, create and edit invoices, keep time for billable hours, draft legal documents, and work closely with senior partners.
