As the VP of Content, I oversee 100 journalists covering news across Alabama, and AL.com Studios, an original content studio producing millions of views in video a week on site and social channels.
Our work speaks for itself: in national awards, and in impact to our communities, and we've been ranked by Pew in the top 10 in all US media for time on site.
Our brands, This is Alabama, Reckon by AL.com, SEC shorts and more, are building social communities engaged around southern topics. Our new startup division, Red Clay Media, focuses on connecting consumers and advertisers through smart, modern social storytelling.
Our work is distributed as well in the state's three largest newspapers: The Birmingham News, the Press-Register, The Huntsville Times, as well as the Mississippi Press.
