Director, Diversity and Inclusion

Director of Diversity and Inclusion leading strategic and operational diversity initiatives for more than 6500 employees in 50 field locations. Previous professional experience with Texas Health Resources, IBM and American Airlines serving five countries including; United States, England, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Canada:

Currently sustaining diversity and inclusion initiatives through providing, vision, leadership, and strategic planning:

o Delivering strategic direction, cast vision with passion that led to a 100% increase in training occurrences and attendance
o Managing training development and delivery for more than 3000 employees in a one year period
o Receiving an average overall trainer and course evaluation of 90% approval in 2016
o Developing and delivering more than 12 customized programs to promote employee engagement and customer service
o Coaching low engagement team leaders resulting more than 50% in Tier 3 leaders moving to Tier 1 in a one year period
o Impacting employee engagement scores which moved from the 67 Percentile to 84 Percentile in a one year period
o Serving as a liaison with supplier diversity vendor relations with SMWVVBE businesses in Tarrant County impacting business development for the community of more than 1 million in population
o Partnering with Chief Diversity Officer to plan and execute the first JPS Diversity Summit Conference that served more than 200 participants including; Tarrant County Commissioners, JPS Health Network Board Members, Community Partners, and JPS Employees.

2016 Awards and Recognitions

o Presented with a VIP award from the Chief Diversity Officer for work with the JPS Diversity Summit

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion was recognized as a Diversity Champion by the US Pan Asian Chamber
