Events Coordinator

As the Events Coordinator with IAMC, I work alongside the Director of Meetings & Event Planning in all phases of meeting planning and execution including research/site visits and selection, negotiations, planning and final on-site execution of all meetings and events for IAMC

Tasks involved in this position are not limited to, but include:
-Manage projects within approved budget plans

- Work with hotels and off-site venues to coordinate BEOs

-Work with hotels to coordinate and manage hotel room block

-Prepare weekly room pickup reports

-Prepare and deliver communication to Board of Directors, Staff and VIPs

-Order and prepare all AV needs for events

-Source and order promotional items for Sponsors

-Prepare the Post Forum Reports

-Act as the Staff Liaison for the Volunteer Service Project: lead and conduct all committee calls, plan and implement the volunteer project in the host city, and perform any duties that arise within the committee as necessary

-Act as the Staff Liaison for the Connect! Committee: lead and conduct all committee calls, plan and implement the workshop in the host city, and perform any duties that arise within the committee as necessary

Account Coordinator in Travel Operations

During my tenure with USMotivation, I was responsible for managing the following within the Travel Operations Department:

-Traveled onsite as needed to produce Travel Inventive and Meeting programs and work with onsite travel staff and hotel/resort staff to execute events on a daily basis.

Special Events Logistics Intern

As the Special Events Logistics Intern at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society- Georgia Chapter, I was responsible for assisting the Special Events Manager in every event occurs.

Throughout my internship, I worked primarily on two fall events: Bike MS: Cox Atlanta Ride and Muckruckus MS. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to the following:

-Assist with the creation of Bike MS route

Student Public Relations Practitioner

SpectrumPR is a student based PR agency through PRSSA at Georgia College. Spectrum is unique because it takes on real-life clients from the Georgia College campus and Milledgeville Community.

While working with SpectrumPR, I worked on two special events: Survivors in Pink, a tribute event to all of the breast cancer survivors in the Baldwin Co. area and Evening in Excellence, an event dedicated to young at risk women who have achieved excellence through their faith.
