At Acorn we were a food and facilities provider for major events.
As the Event Personnel Supervisor-
It was my duty to oversee all event and post event personnel scheduled for each specific event, and make sure all of the appropriate work was being done by the ones hired to do it. My job was to delegate work, inspect tasks upon completion and see to it that all employees under my supervision were making their appropriate contributions to the company according to their individual growth within Acorn. Although my title was supervisor my roll was more of an assistant GM. I also did the scheduling and handled the time sheets for payroll for all of the guys whom I was supervising. I could do anything required of me because I dedicate myself to my work.
My inability to move up within Acorn is why I chose to pursue a higher education.
