Railroad Conductor

I was hired as a conductor June 21, 2004. During this time I have worked safely in the Transportation field, both freight and passenger service. I was forced to Engine service in 2012 where I learned to safely and efficiently operate a locomotive. Upon completion of the 6 month training, where I received my class 1 engineer license I was set back as a conductor. From 2011 until may 2013 I worked as Chicago service unit safety instructor with the Proviso F.A.C.T team. I voluntary gave up my position to Help the work force at Joliet Intermodal terminal. I am currently working freight service on the Joliet to Ft. Maddison board.

I worked with many hazardous chemicals. I would unload barges, and rail cars into storage tanks. I would then load semi trucks with the chemicals that were stored in the tanks. I also worked in the scale house to make sure the trucks were not over loaded per D.O.T regulations. I ran both a fork lift and front end loader.
