Assistant Executive Housekeeper

I was responsible for the day to day work of up to 30 employees. I was responsible for the cleaning of 150 condos as needed. I supervised the training of new employees, and inspected the work of new employees. I was also in charge of ordering supplies, helping with yearly budget, and day to day productivity reports. I was also responsible for handling guest concerns which involved the housekeeping department. Part of my job involved staying in constant contact with our registration department and housekeepers. I assigned the daily work, I made sure units were cleaned, inspected, and ready for guests. During the busy season, it was not unusual for me to do all this while answering the phone up to 200 or more times in an 8 hour day. As the Assistant manager, I was able to make decisions for or on behalf of the manager when he was not present, this included the hiring and terminating of employees.
