Manage the candidate screening process and recruitment efforts for clients across Canada. The screening process includes conducting telephone interviews, assessing candidate competencies and fit for vacancies with our clients. Develop an understanding of our Clients' operations, talent challenges, culture, and ways of working.
Specific clients worked on include the Overwaitea Food Group, Town Shoes, and Mr. Lube, recruiting candidates for frontline, supervisory, and management roles.
In addition to the above responsibilities, I successfully led larger recruitment projects (of 50-125 candidates) which included three new store openings and a re-branding of a fourth location. With each their own set of challenges, adapting quickly was integral to meeting the store's hiring needs. As well, I assisted with the training and coaching of new employees on processes and best practices, while actively seeking ways to improve current procedures and systems.
