Legal Assistant

Shearman & Sterling LLP

New York, NY

This past May I graduated from Barnard College with a degree in English and Religion. I also attended Oxford University for a year, where I studied literature, and I spent a summer at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. In my spare time, you can find me traveling, reading, or watching BBC!

Shearman & Sterling LLP

Legal Assistant

I have been working as a legal assistant at Shearman & Sterling for about three months. I primarily assist lawyers with real estate deals, edit legal documents, and I am the go-to person for administrative requests.

BBC Worldwide

Marketing Intern

As a huge BBC fan, I was thrilled to be working as a marketing intern. I assisted in marketing support, compiled an ad database, selected promotional clips from celebrity interviews, and tracked social media campaign effectiveness. I also catalogued merchandise and marketing material.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Printed Product Intern

While interning at the Met, I managed multiple design and production projects for items to be sold at the Met Store. I was also able to have a hand in the creative aspects by researching images and creating mock-ups for new products. I used my English major background to assist with copyediting calendars and special publication art books.

University of Oxford

University of Oxford

I spent a full year at Oxford as a visiting student where I studied English Language and Literature.

During my limited free time, I was able to explore nearby London.

Barnard College

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), English and Religion

Being able to study at a liberal arts college in the heart of New York City was a fantastic experience. When I wasn't reading 19th century literature, I kept busy working as the Managing Editor at the Barnard Bulletin, I was an intern at the Columbia/Barnard Hillel, and I even sang in the Barnard-Columbia Chorus.
