Experience started with working at the emergency room department. Obtaining patients demographics, insurance information, and collecting any co-payments due after visit. Updating all paperwork for those patients being admitted to each floor. Answering incoming calls and attending to the family members with updates about their loved ones being cared for. Experience exceeded to the inpatient department. Taking walk ins and those who had appointments on a timely basis. Answering incoming calls, making in hospital pages to reach the nurse supervisors or doctors. Preparing charts for the patients for when they get admitted. Showing professionalism, compassion, and empathy to our patients was our daily value statement.
