Melanie Bridges

Administrative Assistant

Edward J. Minskoff Equities

New York, NY

I am a Stanford graduate who loves culture and supporting female empowerment. I currently live in New York City and work in the art world.

Stanford University

Bachelor of Arts Degree, Art History

Receiving a liberal arts education exposed me to so many different ideas and disciplines. I focused on Art History, as I love to examine cultures within their own contexts. In 2012, I won Stanford University's Quad Award for my research paper entitled "Anish Kapoor: In between Sculpture and Architecture for the Recognition of Space." Outside of Art History, I explored many subjects, such as psychology, science, drama, philosophy, and languages. Every class functioned like a puzzle piece that fit into my overarching academic perspective.

Edward J. Minskoff Equities

Administrative Assistant

I help manage an art collection at a real estate company. In this role, I design and implement a method to catalog the President’s collection of over 500 artworks into a new database system. The artworks move in and out of the collection and travel around the world. As the collection is so extensive and dynamic, I really enjoy contributing to and understanding the art business on a deeper level.
