Megan was elevated to a Senior Planner position with the City of Dallas in 2016, reflective of her growth, quality work and dedication to her career advancing the practice of urban design. Megan fills an important role by providing urban design advisory services, policy, research, and data development in the Planning & Urban Design Department. She is currently leading the efforts for The Cedars Neighborhood Heritage Survey and design build project management for water conservation and landscape improvements at The Martin Luther King Jr., Community Center in South Dallas/ Fair Park Neighborhood. Megan excels in both efforts by balancing community needs and design best practices with budgetary and political processes at the City. She strategically encourages and opens channels for collaboration and management of multi-disciplinary team members across departments. Megan is recognized for her efforts in solving complex problems and takes self-initiative in finding new pathways and solutions based on her experience and weighing multiple sources of information.
