Vice President of Finance
Lead the development of the budgets for GW Women in Business general programming ($2,000), New York Career Trek ($8,500), and the Annual Spring Conference ($13,000) to properly allocate funds. Acted as a liaison between GWWIB and GW's Student Association Finance Committee and the Center for Student Engagement to gain funding and ensure compliance with GW's financial policies. Managed accounts receivable and accounts payable duties including member dues, sponsorship payments, special assessments, payments to vendors, and member reimbursements.
Executive Vice President
Established the first GWWIB Ambassador program consisting of 5 individuals, focused on marketing GWWIB on campus, leading to a 20% increase in current membership since November 2013. Developed a comprehensive manual for Executive Board members to increase understanding of other positions, evaluating gaps or overlaping in leadership, and used as reference. Developed and executed the new website launch in January 2014 to provide a professional marketing platform for the organization. (http://www.gwwib.org/) Coordinated the logistics for organizational events with university leaders and faculty to provide networking and general career opportunities for over 100 member. Maintained a positive group dynamic to all Executive Board members by resolving conflict, delivering complex solutions, and promoting effective communication. Assembled a group of 5 professional women in the DC Metropolitan area to serve as GWWIB’s first Board of Directors and provide guidance to the Executive Board.
