Conduct strategic recruitment planning sessions with talent acquisition managers of key university recruiting partners. Cultivate recruiting relationships with local, regional and national employers to increase the number of internship and full-time employment opportunities for Penn State students. Conduct employer needs assessments to evaluate and improve services, resources and programs for university-wide recruiting. Work with employers to develop marketing strategies for the enhancement of their brand university-wide. Assist students with the development and execution of career goals including internship and job search strategy, resume development, and interview skills.
Represent Career Services in the communication, collaboration and the development of joint career programs with the academic colleges. Coordinate with staff/faculty to provide college-based career services.
Facilitate and coordinate Career Services’ on the Recruiting at Penn State (RAPS) Consortium Working Groups. Working group committees- Symplicity, Career Conference, RAPS Website, Post Graduate Survey. Represent Career Services’ in creating and implementing a web-based program and software that support and communicate a university-wide recruiting system for students and employers. In cooperation with the RAPS Consortium, represent Career Services in creating and implementing a web site that describes the range of internship and employment recruiting programs at Penn State that are available to students and employers. The web site serves as a portal with links to other specific College-based and Career Services-based programs(recruiting.psu.edu).
