Blue Hen Ambassador

When I graduated preschool, I told the audience that I wanted to teach snakes to read when I got older. They laughed. That's how I knew my goals were high enough.

University of Delaware

B.S. , Marketing and Econ

UD has allowed me to optimize my academic experience. They encourage adding a second major and a minor in order to get the most out of college. And it allows me to engage in a wide variety of activities that I would not have been able to do elsewhere. Marching Band, Student Centers Programming Advisory Board, Peanut Butter Club, Bass Fishing, Social Media Ambassador, and more!

University of Delaware

Blue Hen Ambassador

This job gives me the opportunity to make the college decision process much easier for high school students. I lead several tours each week for visiting students and their families. I also advise and support prospective students through the admission process by answering emails, talking on the phone, and meeting with them in person. Through this, I gain essential marketing and public relations skills, while also furthering a greater appreciation for my school

Joe's Crab Shack

Greeter/ Server

Joe's is not your typical restaurant. I don't just seat patrons by escorting them to their tables. I create a personal dining experience by answering questions and engaging in conversation with guests. I entertain guests by dancing around the entire restaurant every hour to popular songs. One time, a guest gave me a $5 tip and told me I had a future as a "male dancer".

Student Centers Programming Advisory Board

SCPAB is a student-run organization that programs a variety of events for students on campus. I have had the pleasure of hosting many of my own events, such as a Late Night Waffle Bar and an outdoor carnival. But my favorite moment was helping plan Senior Fling, which was a carnival in the spring that was attended by over 3000 students, making it our most successful event.

Marching Band

As one of the section leaders of the Trombone Section, I have been given the privilege of being a role model for my peers in order to ensure the success of the program. I promote high energy levels, positive attitudes, and utter craziness. You get out of this program what you put into it, so why not give it your all?

UDance is UD's largest fundraising opportunity. As of this past March, we are the 5th largest college dance marathon in the country. We strive to help children with cancer by raising money and by hosting events with our "heroes", who are children that are either currently battling cancer, or have overcome it. Last year, we raised $1,701,667.81, and I raised over $1000 myself.
