Duties: Performing nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures ranging from starting IV’s, measuring doses, performing QC, and interacting with patients and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
Experience: Procedures include thyroid uptake/ablation and imaging, liver/spleen, bone, bone marrow, Xofigo (Ra223 Bone Therapy), Octreoscan, Prostascint, molecular breast imaging, stereotactic biopsies, labeled RBC’s, MUGA, renal perfusion and function, gastrointestinal bleed, lung vent/perf/quant, lymphoscintigraphy, tumor localization, parathyroid, labeled WBC’s, renal flow/function, tumor mapping, Sirsphere, Zevalin, and Quadramet therapies.
Responsible for all aspects of the procedures, quality control procedures, process improvement and drawing labwork. Equipment used includes General Electric Discovery PET/CT with cardiac/respiratory gating capabilities, Infinia Hawkeye SPECT/CT, and Dilon 6800 molecular breast imaging camera.
Recipient of multiple stakeholder to stakeholder awards. Commendations range from excellent patient care to going above and beyond expectations.
