Marketing Communications Specialist
Graphic Design: Responsible for creating all brochures, adverts, postcards, flyers, adverts, Email campaigns, website banners and other material used for marketing purposes.
Content management: Responsible for writing SEO friendly content for the website. Writing of content for all email campaigns, introduction mails to specific industries based on each section of the business (ie. Events, Interior Design, Restaurants, Retail, Fashion). Also responsible for writing press releases as and when required.
Advertising: Analyze any advertising done, the return on investment, the number of the promotional item sold, as well as the PR valued gained and the increase in business based on the particular advert. I got to work with just one promotional code item. Research and produce a hit list of possible publications in which we can advertise, feature our company or just use for product placement. Contact editors and assistant editors, stylists, get information on rates, procedure of production and build a business relationship.
Website Duties: Produce reports based on Google analytics for the website. Work with web developers on improving site functionality, update site with new products & information on existing products, conducting research on competitor sites. Photography: Touching up already existing pictures of products, resizing images for both website, for publications and press releases. Taking photos of new products as and when they arrive to be used on the website and for brochure.
Focal point of contact for inquiries; sales, marketing, PR and other general inquiries.
Create the layout and the write content of both, B2B and B2C email campaigns. Quantify the success of each campaign and analyze results based on clicks received and hard bounced mails.
Content management: Writing of fresh SEO friendly content and editing of content researched and obtained from other media sources.
Coordination with web developers: The main focal point of contact between the web developers for implementation of new design & online applications for clients and HMS Arabia in order to meet all marketing requirements.
Management of all web activities: Conceptualizing and designing of Email Newsletters for HMS as well as for clients; creating & replying to all forum queries; designing & uploading of web banners for clients; Online Marketing: Implementation of SEO to help increase web presence. Research for suitable keywords & uploading on a day-to-day basis.
Email Marketing: Creating and analyzing email marketing campaigns. Producing successful content based on email aesthetics Selection of suitable database based on nature of email campaign and target audience. Performing statistic checks for campaigns sent out by preparing reports for clients based on total recipients sent out, total delivered, total opened, unique opens, total unsubscriptions and total clicks achieved. Managing campaign database of over 80,000 email ID's. Segregating clients/users according to industry and target audience. Management of all return emails based on bounce statistics.
Print media: Design of all flyers, adverts & all marketing collateral for clients & HMS, Arabia. Creation of HMS Arabia's official Membership package presentations
PR/Client Servicing: Responsible for maintaining all client queries, presentations & membership renewals and to maintain public relations with all clients and media personnel.
Listings management: Sourcing company & event listings (phone or email) and prepare listings in the format for upload.
Sales: Selling advertising space (web banners, email shots) and pre-sales of membership packages.
Database management: Responsible for fresh and amended data uploaded onto company databases.

Promoting clean, good music for the youth by conducting weekly & quarterly concerts for amateurs & professional musicians. The Unwind Center also has their own School of Music in which I played a major role as their Drums Instructor.
My main role at the Unwind Center was with their Unwind School of Music were I worked part-time as their Drums Instructor which involved teaching students from all age groups. My other duties involved helping out the events team with the organization & conducting of workshops & concerts which were held on a weekly & quarterly basis & also played a part in helping out with sound checks & settings for all musicians. I was also involved with the designing of flyers & advertisements for the concerts.
