Regional Director, K-12 Learning, Leadership & Student Success

• Lead, direct and supervise district and school improvement through the development and implementation of a regional network-wide continuous school improvement framework and service delivery model for state-identified lowest performing schools in the region
• Budget management and oversight of fiscal resources to oversee and supervise K-12 school improvement, PreK-3rd grade systems and K-12 literacy programs, initiatives and professional learning
• Coordinate, supervise and align gap-closing instructional and leadership services and supports, core professional learning, and technical assistance in the areas of literacy, math, English language learners, special education and graduation readiness to approximately 60 state-identified Priority and Focus schools
• Under my leadership, 40% of identified school districts exited schools from state-identified improvement status
• Lead the planning and implementation of innovative teaching and leadership programs in the areas of racial equity, adaptive leadership, organizational /school turnaround, and Implementation Science to improve student learning
• Founder and co-facilitator of three-part Racial Equity Institute where over 100 state, regional, district and school leaders and teachers utilized race equity tools and resources to develop and deepen adaptive leadership practices to foster positive change on behalf of historically underserved students and families
