- Develop the weekly schedules for all volunteers (between 10-45 individuals) and manage staff placements for 6 national staff members

Internal Communications Intern

- Spearheaded the creation of the new intranet site, “The Village,” on SharePoint 2010, and worked with the Internal Communications department on the transfer of all content to The Village
- Managed all content on The Village homepage, and worked with various departments throughout CARE USA on the creation and execution of both the content and layout of their new intranet sub-sites
- Assisted in the creation and distribution of the monthly internal newsletter to 8,000+ employees worldwide

- worked with the global Alcatel-Lucent Operations Sustainability team across multiple projects that manage the social/ethical/environmental topics across a global supplier base
- worked directly for a manager located in Paris, France with minimal local, on-site supervision.
- implemented a grading scale shift for suppliers assessed for corporate responsibility management system
- supported the engagement suppliers for submission of smelter or refiner information in support of the Dodd-Frank Act section 1502 on Conflict Minerals.

Community Connection of Northeast Georgia

Communications Intern

- Manage Community Connection and HandsOn NEGA web presence, including: all social media, blog, newsletters, website, and individual communications, reaching an audience of 20,000+
- Created and implemented a new social media marketing plan that resulted in a 13% increase in followers and a 300% increase in interactions across 4 major social media platforms
- Assist in coordination and execution of major events, such as the Athens Volunteer Fair, Rivers Alive, and MLK Day of Service


Pencils of Promise

Community Engagement Intern

- Redesigned the format outline and created a sustainable content schedule for the Pencils of Promise blog, as well as writing and managing all blog content
- Developed and created the system of managing blog schedules and content and managed the transfer of all information to the new database system
- Worked with a team of 6 interns to create and execute the PoP Leadership Institute, a two-day conference teaching over 75 high school and college aged students how to become leaders and social activists in one's community. Managed all media for the event, including live tweeting, videography, and photography.
