Team Leader - Rice Up to Us

Up to Us is a nationwide campus competition that empowers students to educate their peers on our long-term national debt, how it could affect their economic opportunities, and what their generation can do to have a voice in raising awareness of our fiscal challenges. As team leader, I put together a team of myself and four other Rice students to run this campaign as the core team members, and recruited 14 other students from across campus to execute the campaign. I helped draft a budget and campaign strategy, and we are currently in the process of executing this strategy.

The Global Good Fund:Collegiate Leadership Collaborative

Founder and Managing Director

I founded the Collegiate Leadership Collaborative, a business division of The Global Good Fund, as a vehicle to empower members of my generation to create the world that they envision. The Collegiate Leadership Collaborative adopts the mindset that high-impact, beneficial social change can come from anyone, and it is the mission of the CLC to mediate that social change in a multi-dimensional way within the context of a younger crowd. Through workshops ranging from professionalism to vision planning for both high school and college students, as well as mentoring and leadership development, students will have the opportunity to create and take on a project that can make a social change in their community. The first chapter exists at Rice University, and we are currently receiving interest from universities both domestically and internationally to found other chapters. We have formed partnerships with multiple organizations both in and outside of Rice University.
