Boston Children's Hospital

Digital Market Consultant

After my experience as an intern, the digital marketing team brought me on to work remotely as a consultant. Each day new projects are starting and others are ending. I take part in numbers project elements and aid the team in keeping the projects on track for completion. While working remotely and when I was in the office, I maintain contact with internal departments like analytics and social media teams to enhance our projects.

Boston Children's Hospital

Web Production Intern

I gained insight into website maintenance tasks and the collaboration needed for long-term projects to come together. I was taught how to use the content management system, SEO system and basic html. Boston Children’s Hospital was ranked #1 by U.S. News and World Report over the summer. To share this with the community, we created a “You Inspire Us” campaign. To enhance the user experience, I audited pages to eliminate errors and migrated information from various pages to one. In collaborating with other team members, we were able to create a digital hub for doctors, nurses and researchers to update or create their profile.

University of Delaware: Residence Life and Housing

Resident Assistant and Office Manager

I have worked in a building with over 700 residents and been the direct supervisor for 40 residents each year. I have over 300 hours of training regarding being a first responder in a crisis situation, mediate conflict, and be accepting of other’s differences. Working with a staff of 20 young individuals, we all take various steps to help residents but we share a unified goal: safety and inclusion of all students. Each year, I strive to empower residents to shape their community. The residents and I engage in floor events and meetings as well as creating high impact practices. While overseeing students well-being, I complete administrative tasks like key audits, managing a budget and promote staff members individual goals.
