The Recording Artists Guild (RAG) is a non profit association OF recording artists FOR recording artists that was established in 2009 to promote and protect the interests of all recording artists both professionally and personally. We provide our members with important benefits, special discounts, licensing and gig opportunities, as well as access to exclusive networking events, showcases and workshops. Our mission is to provide resources for both the creative and professional needs of our members. All members' videos and other content will also be placed on RAG TV on the LOOKHU and ROKU TV platforms.
WORK HISTORY WITH RAG
Started with the Recording Artists Guild as Director of Development, working directly with Chairman/CEO, Byron Booker, creating the brand, coming up with innovative marketing strategies, implementing the valuable tools and resources created specifically for our members and producing strategic partnerships.
Became Executive Vice President, and successfully connected the Guild and Cinsay Inc. via long-time friend and Cinsay employee, Nathan Worrell, which resulted in a 7 year exclusive agreement, and R2RLive was born.
R2RLive was the world's first live streamed concert with built in eCommerce that took place at the 2013 South by Southwest Festival in Austin, TX., breaking records, shattering expectations and was called the "eWoodstock."
