Taking care of the Operations of the Sales and Marketing team, my daily duties include but are not limited to:
▪Revenue Management
▪Contracting
▪Managing B2B and B2C Extranets
▪Marketing through different platforms such as brochures, social media platforms and website
▪Managing the Corporate Segment and making sure to bring new business and revenue leads
▪Managing the Front Office and Reservations Department, in making sure that they are upselling and maximising revenue.
▪Delegating work and planning the shifts for the Reservations department.
▪Screening an interview candidates that apply within the sales and front office departments.
▪Training new interns both in Front office and in the Reservations department.
▪Managing the Front office team in terms of customer service and giving training.
▪I was in charge in the project development of the refurbishment of the hotel and its operation.
▪In charge of the implementation of new Central Reservation System and the changeover from one Operating system to the next.
▪Giving training to staff on the new Central Reservation system and being the contact in assisting where any problem arises.
▪Giving training on maximising revenue and handling customer complaints
▪Constantly teaching staff on how to better improve the overall service of the hotel and promote efficiency.
▪Creating Standard Operating procedures to staff to be adhered to.
▪Seeing to guests request and complaints
▪Responding to all complaints and reviews on booking channels and review sites,
▪Monitoring Competition
▪Attending fairs and events both locally and abroad
▪Holding show rounds and business development meetings
▪Attending networking events.
▪Handling of group queries and operation while in house.
▪When I am Duty Manager I take care of all the operation of the hotel and its Food and Beverage Outlets. Roaming the hotel and making sure that everything is in order while seeing that everyone is doing their job right

I started taking care of a block of Luxury Apartments (Strand Suites) from the beginning and I am in charge of its operation and upkeep in general. My duties include but are not limited to:

▪Daily spot checks in all the apartments making sure that the housekeeping and maintenance staff are keeping to their duties and keeping the apartments up to standard.
▪Random spot checks to follow up on maintenance issues and see that they have been done in time and see to other needs.
▪Doing Marketing campaigns and listing with sites to sell the upscale apartments.
▪Work out the rates according to the budgets created and see to which platforms I am going to issue the rates to.
▪Taking and inputting reservations
▪Constantly update rates online to be competitive and maximise revenue.
▪Conduct show rounds and meeting real estate agents and businesses to view the property to sell it at the best rate.
▪Taking photographs of the apartments and seeing how to best portray the apartments to the clients.
▪Seeing to guests complaints, queries and comments
▪Assisting clients in their apartments and helping them with excursions
▪Constantly implementing new standards, procedures and other logistics to improve the overall quality of both the apartments and the service we provide.
