Taking care of the Operations of the Sales and Marketing team, my daily duties include but are not limited to:
▪Managing B2B and B2C Extranets
▪Marketing through different platforms such as brochures, social media platforms and website
▪Managing the Corporate Segment and making sure to bring new business and revenue leads
▪Managing the Front Office and Reservations Department, in making sure that they are upselling and maximising revenue.
▪Delegating work and planning the shifts for the Reservations department.
▪Screening an interview candidates that apply within the sales and front office departments.
▪Training new interns both in Front office and in the Reservations department.
▪Managing the Front office team in terms of customer service and giving training.
▪I was in charge in the project development of the refurbishment of the hotel and its operation.
▪In charge of the implementation of new Central Reservation System and the changeover from one Operating system to the next.
▪Giving training to staff on the new Central Reservation system and being the contact in assisting where any problem arises.
▪Giving training on maximising revenue and handling customer complaints
▪Constantly teaching staff on how to better improve the overall service of the hotel and promote efficiency.
▪Creating Standard Operating procedures to staff to be adhered to.
▪Seeing to guests request and complaints
▪Responding to all complaints and reviews on booking channels and review sites,
▪Attending fairs and events both locally and abroad
▪Holding show rounds and business development meetings
▪Attending networking events.
▪Handling of group queries and operation while in house.
▪When I am Duty Manager I take care of all the operation of the hotel and its Food and Beverage Outlets. Roaming the hotel and making sure that everything is in order while seeing that everyone is doing their job right
