Knowledge Exchange Support Officer - Research and Enterprise Services

Selected to work on a £32m Wave Two Growth Hub (W2GH) Programme, designed to boost economic growth in Wave 2 City Deal areas, this challenging and dynamic role demonstrates my professional approach to building strong relationships within a complex network of stakeholders. These include; representatives from the Cabinet Office, Department of Business Innovation and Skills (BIS), Local Authorities, Local Enterprise Partnerships and Universities.

Primarily responsible for the accurate and transparent allocation of Regional Growth Funding to 15 W2GH Cities, I mitigate risk through rigorous monitoring of expenditure of grant funding.

Working within a Customer Service Excellence awarded organisation, I take the lead role in communication, managing the designated knowledge and data sharing platform, SharePoint. I continue to create and deliver high quality training packages and events as well as detailed guidance for both internal and external stakeholders to ensure a strong support network is maintained.

Integral to the Systems Development of the Programme, I have established, and continue to evaluate key processes to improve the quality and efficiency of the administration and delivery of publicly funded Programmes.
