As the Senior Team Leader for Hardlines at Target my main role revolves around leading the entire team to drive profitable sales by delivering a Target-brand shopping experience for every guest. My main responsibilities include:
- coaching and developing the team on ways to increase sales through product merchandising, driving our Red credit & debit card enrollments and overall great guest service
- leading a safe and secure environment that is focused on incident prevention
- assisting in controlling payroll by holding team members accountable to work scheduled shifts and follow proper compliance regulations
One of the most important responsibilities in this role is actively participating in the performance management process which includes recognizing, coaching, providing meaningful feedback, writing and delivering counseling & corrective actions, and writing and delivering performance reviews.
Driving a Fast Fun & Friendly environment that leads team members to success through proper training and mentoring is the satisfying element that drives me to continue to grow within the company.
