Save Yourself, Then Save The World: Practicing Self Care for the Busy Woman
Valentine's Day is approaching and for most women, this time can be a bit draining emotionally. Instead of worrying about having a date, consider indulging in self care and self love this year.
Often times we look to significant others, friends and family to lift our spirits, love and care for us as we do for them and the results come up short. That’s because what your seeking in others actually starts within.
During this workshop, discover how to boost your self care and self love practices by focusing on wellness from the inside out. During this session you will learn tips to creating peace of mind within your busy schedule.
You should be here if you would like...
● To learn wellness strategies that don’t involve going to the gym
● To make realistic lifestyle changes that don’t involve spending money
● To break free of the feelings of being overwhelmed, overworked, and undervalued.
Learn more about our speaker!
Ashley Baptiste, MBA left her full-time career in nursing administration & human resources in April 2017 to pursue her dream of creating work-life balance for overworked professionals through holistic wellness. She decided to take to leap after climbing the corporate ladder and realizing that no matter how much money one had employees were regularly unhappy with their overall quality of life. She recognized that there was more to life beyond the paycheck.
Ashley travels the world in cowboy boots and a floral print dress with pockets big enough for mini Kleenex pouches and half sticks of gum. When she’s not blending oils and curating teas to provide MangosCoconuts enthusiasts with lifestyle boxes, you can find her chopping up a delicious veganish meal, wandering outside barefoot or answering the daily question “Aren’t you cold?”
Currently, she serves as a leader on the board for National Black MBA Association Pittsburgh. She is a graduate of CORO Women in Leadership Cohort XIX and Co-Founder of SLAYY which seeks to elevate the status of single mothers in Western PA. Ashley also graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's in English Writing concentrating in poetry & a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in human resources and project management from Walden University.
She is passionate about foster children, travel, tea, yoga, and astrology. You can follow Ashley @blackfreespirit and her business @mangoscoconuts.
