Join us for the kick-off of our monthly health meet-ups! Starting in April, Levo Pittsburgh will engage in monthly meetups focused on physical health and wellness. To kick off the series, we are having a discussion with health coach Carrie McCann!
Carrie will speak to us about how to truly balance self care with our other priorities. Bring a notebook and friend for this interactive discussion!
Space is limited so RSVP if you definitely plan to attend. This event will take place at the Carnegie Library of Squirrel Hill. There is a parking lot next door to the garage as well a metered street parking. Both options are free after 6pm. The library is also accessible via major bus lines.
Carrie McCann is a social worker turned personal wellness guide after her own forays into trying to figure out how to repair her body and make herself feel whole again. Her journey began shortly after her body started sending her very loud, unignorable signals that her current diet, lifestyle, and stress levels were no longer working for her. Many doctor visits, diagnoses, and supplements later, Carrie still had a number of physical symptoms and exhaustion and anxiety to go along with them. It wasn’t until she started to feed her mind, body, and spirit with the nourishment it was craving, rather than just trying to treat her physical symptoms, that she saw any lasting changes and began to feel better. She continued her education to become a certified Integrative Health Coach and soon to be certified yoga instructor so that she could support women in changing their lives, too. Her mission is to help women feel vibrant and whole in every area of life and to help them reconnect with their own body, mind, and spirit. She strives to create social impact through holistic wellness for individuals and communities and believes that when unstoppable and compassionate women are feeling confident, whole, and energized that the world will change for the better.
