(Re) Discover Philly

(Re) Discover Philly

Event Description

It's almost time to say goodbye to summer which means most of us are finally back from our beach vacations and gearing up to explore Philly for the next 9 months. Ever wish you had a list of top go-to brunch, shopping, happy hour and patio spots in the city of Brotherly Love? Well, let's create that list!

Our mission: use our collective knowledge and favorites to create the ultimate "(Re)Discover Philly" list! Whether you’ve lived in this city for a week, year, or decade, there’s always something new to explore and a new spot to share.

Come with a few favorite spots in mind and a chance to meet other dynamic women from around the city. And we promise you'll all learn a new thing (or two!) about Philly!

"Spot" Ideas include:
Where do you go in the city when you’re looking for inspiration?
Best patio dining
Best restaurant you’ve been to in the past month
One restaurant you’re dying to try
Favorite small business in town
If you were to share one “secret” to the city, what would it be?
If you were to give one recommendation to someone traveling to the city, what would it be?
Best coffee in town
What’s your favorite memory in the city?
Best happy hour
Best: Italian, Mexican, Pho, vegetarian, etc

We'll be meeting at The Hive in Old City on September 8th at 6:30pm. See you there!

About The Hive:

The Hive is Philadelphia’s first co-working space dedicated to ambitious women. Whether you’re just starting a business of your own or working remotely for a company, The Hive provides women of all ages and backgrounds a space to work and a community full of like-minded women.

Created by Melissa Alam, the founder of online magazine Femme & Fortune, this 900-square-foot space in Old City aims to inspire collaboration, personal and professional development, mentorship, and empowerment here in the city of sisterly love.
