Event Description

The mash up of marketing experts is designed to bring together a diverse panel of marketing professionals in Metro Atlanta. We'll have a panel of young marketing professionals discussing on how to navigate a marketing career, what marketing trends to look out for in 2015, and the importance of mentorship.

The Marketing Mashup Discussion will be lead by Local Levo Atlanta member, Lauren Hill.

Lauren Hill is currently a Marketing Research Analyst on assignment at Chick-fil-A. A three year stint with an Airline Loyalty Rewards start -up, Thanks Again, began Lauren's career in Marketing. To compliment this experience, Lauren earned an M.B.A. with a concentration in Marketing from Georgia State's J. Mack Robinson College of Business in 2012.

Lauren is a social media enthusiast but avoids oversharing! One of her passions is helping families secure decent, affordable housing through volunteer work with Southern Crescent Habitat for Humanity.

Panelist: Ashley Roberson, Ryan Pham, Parisa Perkins

Director of Digital Sales for CBS Local Atlanta, Ashley Roberson is known for shooting it straight with southern charm. She received a B.A. Degree in Mass Communication from Francis Marion University in Florence, SC. As the Director of Digital Sales, Ashley provides leadership and direction to a team of diverse sales professionals. She was recruited to join CBS in March of 2012. Prior to joining CBS, Ashley was with AT&T for 12 years. During her tenure at AT&T, she was the youngest account executive to be promoted into management. This promotion led to several other promotions across the South East which is how she landed in Atlanta.

Ashley’s motto in sales has always been “skill or will”. Skills can be taught and learned. However, one either has the will and work ethic to be successful or not. Ashley believes will and work ethic are learned from your childhood. Ashley manages successful teams to achieve objectives and hit budgets. Overachieving objectives and budgets is what Ashley considers success.

Ashley is a proud mom to Scarlett, a mini LabraDoodle. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys competing on the torq board at Flywheel. Ashley also volunteers on the Guest Services team at Buckhead Church

Parisa Perkins​
Marketing Program Manager-Operations; American Red Cross (BioMed)

Parisa Perkins is a creative and forward thinking marketing professional with proven ability to, develop successful marketing campaigns that create connection, and drive sales. As a Marketing Program Manager for the American Red Cross, she helps save lives by ensuring that blood and platelet collections meet the needs of hospital patients across the country. With her expertise and team collaboration, she helps make this happen through custom marketing programs, brand management, and social engagement.
Her desire to help others extends beyond the office and into the community through her participation in local organizations including, sponsorship committee member for WIT (Women in Technology), Social Media and events committee member for Atlanta Urban League Young and Professional, and her most recent involvement as an integral member of the, American Red Cross African American Resource Group, whose mission is to educate and promote the importance of minority donations and a diverse blood supply. Parisa’s greatest strength is her creativity, drive and ability to think outside the box. Like a diamond she thrives on the pressure of challenging scenarios, for they enable her overcome fear and learn new things that continually allow her to see growth in professional and personal life.
Originally a native of Northern California, Parisa migrated to the South to attend Clark Atlanta University where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. Through continued education course she recently received a Specialty Marketing certificate from Wharton School of Business; University of Pennsylvania.
In her free time she enjoys traveling to tropical destinations, TRX fitness training, reading, volunteering and hitting the Atlanta scene to try new restaurants in the city.

Ryan Pham is currently working as the Executive Assistant to Rushion McDonald, Executive Producer of the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Steve Harvey Talk Show, and Consulting Producer of Family Feud. In his role, he is responsible for managing Rushion’s online presence, including his Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Soundcloud accounts. He is also responsible for a variety of other marketing related duties, including reporting on the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns for the Steve Harvey Radio Show, and assisting with development of marketing strategy for new business.
Prior to working under Rushion McDonald, Ryan served as an Account Coordinator at lifestyle marketing agency Liquid Soul Media. Ryan was initially brought on at Liquid Soul to assist with the agency’s sports clients. After several seasons working on the WNBA and local Atlanta Football Classic accounts, Ryan transitioned to some of the agencies corporate accounts such as Walmart/Sam’s Club. He was an instrumental part of the team that executed a partnership between Walmart and Warner Bros. to help promote the Jackie Robinson biopic ’42.’ The film finished #1 at the box office opening weekend and had the best premiere for a baseball-themed movie in Hollywood history.
Ryan received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Florida State University and after graduating in three years; he decided he was not ready to enter the real world. He then pursued his master’s degree in Sport Management with a Certificate in Coaching. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys watching films, trying Atlanta restaurants, listening to podcasts, and taking online classes. He also recently joined the Decatur Army Youth Sports Group, and is looking forward to coaching football in the spring.
