Job vs. Career Workshop: Align your Vision and Define your Goals

Event Description

We're Partnering with General Assembly Atlanta & Girl Develop IT to bring you Job vs. Career!

Job. Profession. Career. Let's face it: a lot of these words basically mean work, the place where we now spend about 40-60 hours a week. This is where the lines blur, because there are some clear and distinct differences between a job and career, ones that are all too often overlooked and misinterpreted. There are clear instances in our life in which we should focus on excelling in our job and others in which we should think long term about our career. But, how do we plan a career or even figure out what your next job should be? It is hard enough to deal with these questions alone, so come join Shinjini and many others unraveling these ideas to learn to answer the question job vs. career? by aligning your vision and defining your goals.
