-Enthusiastically designed, implemented, and assessed instruction in all subject areas for classes of up to 32 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade regular ed, gifted, and special needs students utilizing innovative researched best practices and technology integration for a blended classroom design incorporating diverse e-learning tools, strategies, and methods. Selected and compensated by the district to write lesson plans, locate online resources, and create activities posted and shared on the district's resource website.
-Collected, organized, and analyzed formal and informal assessment data in order to differentiate and guide instruction based on student needs, multiple intelligences, and various learning styles optimizing student achievement.
-Worked collaboratively with other teachers, administrators, parents, and professionals on a wide variety of tasks and events. Selected to mentor student teachers and 2 teachers new to the school due to strong training, leadership, communication, and team-building abilities demonstrated and recognized through collaboration.
-Actively served and lead a variety of school committees focused on curriculum development and vertical alignment, textbook adoption, faculty parties, morale building, technology implementation, developing relationships with community partners, fundraising, and creating an updated vision and mission statement for the school.
-Regularly facilitated teacher staff development by presenting and training others at school and in continuing education classes and workshops. As a result, selected to organize and facilitate teacher training workshops at district-wide in-service conferences. Presented on formative assessment techniques for all grade levels and 4th grade science experiment activities, assessment techniques, electronic resources, and technology integration.
-Utilized Edmodo, Moodle, Educreations, Prezi, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teacher Web, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Forms, Google Sheets, Dropbox, VoiceThread, SMARTBoard interactive whiteboard, document camera, scanner, iPads, laptops, student response systems, and a variety of other web resources and software.
-**One of the first teachers in my school to create a 21st century learning environment and integrate flip teaching in the classroom. Piloted the BYOD initiative where students were able to bring their own electronic devices to school. Held a special informative meeting to present the concept to administration and my students' parents to gain permission, approval, and support beforehand.
