Positive Impact is a company focused on making the Events Industry Sustainable. My role as Group Project Manager involves Event Management for 3 group meetings which take place one after another at various locations twice a year. This includes tasks such as venue liaison, communication with the group on the logistics and to generate the agenda. Managing the registration of attendees and providing a report to the PI team on who is attending Sending out pre meeting information and post meeting minutes. I also research organisations and contact for new members providing information on the company and how it can help businesses.
I have just started the role of Webinar Project Manager as well. Liaising with four key partners to plan a 45 minute free webinar every 3 months. Research and plan key questions and content for the webinar, use social media channels to raise awareness about the webinar, create a post event report to include webinar attendees and a summary of content which could be shared in other ways with people who did not attend the webinar. This is a new role and I am learning and developing as I go on and have found my internship extremely valuable so far.
