The Providence Center
Operations Supervisor-Residential Services
May 2012 — Present
Provided inquiring participants initial screening, admissions, or referrals. I was the initial program contact for clients, service providers and referral sources. With exemplary customer service skills, I not only retained existing referrals, but encouraged repetition and new referral sources as well. I maintained a 42 bed census and also oversaw the placement of clients in two other Providence Center, residential facilities. Daily maintenance of the census for all 3 programs was a state regulation as well. Once admitted to Roads to Recovery, insurance coverage was verified or applications were submitted to Healthsource RI for new service. Interim service payment was requested from the State of RI and supporting documentation was submitted. I maintained the data used to invoice the state monthly. Obtained authorizations from insurance providers and also concurrent reviews if extended service was needed. Other administrative duties included ordering all office supplies, maintaining petty cash, and coordinating bi-weekly activities for clients and staff. Confirmed and submitted billing data via the census to the billing department. I also assisted that department with recouping $40,000 in back billing that was missed prior to my employment.
