APCO Worldwide

Global Marketing Communication Coordinator

I managed the APCO's global media relations and digital production across social media, website, blog and emails. Leading a team of local marketing representatives in more than 30 offices around the world was my favorite part of the role. I was able to meet colleagues in Paris, London, Brussels, New York and Tokyo in my personal travels.

Summer in Paris

After I graduated, I went to Paris on my own for three months. Overcoming language barriers, navigating my way through a city in which I didn't know anyone, and soaking up creative inspiration and history... Traveling and personally challenging myself was exactly what I wanted to do before working full-time. C'est la vie.

American University

BA, film and media arts; minors in marketing and international business

From studying abroad in Australia and Scotland to producing a weekly NBC Washington video series for a class, AU provided endless learning opportunities for me. I always knew I wanted to work in marketing, but I wanted to have the tactical communication skills in video, photo and digital - that's why I majored in film and media arts. I stay actively engaged with the alumni community by serving as a board member of AU's DC Young Alumni Chapter.
