Administrative Assistant III

Provides administrative support to the Department Chair and faculty of the Department of Mathematical Sciences.

* Prepares forms for travel, reimbursements, purchases, faculty searches, instructor reappointments, staff and student hiring.
* Supervises work-study student assignments, maintaining time records and providing a job performance at the end of each academic year.
* Provides textbook orders to bookstore and contacts publishers to obtain desk copies for faculty.
* Utilizes financial records system to maintain departmental budgets.
* Purchases and maintains office supply inventory.
* Respond to faculty, staff, student, intra- and extra-departmental requests.
* Serves as Office Manager and Receptionist, answering all incoming calls.
