Provided excellent customer service and rental car services to a variety of customers while learning how to run a business from the ground up. Responsibilities included maintaining rental car fleet to ensure vehicles go out "rental ready," booking reservations, selling product and ancillary services/products, preparing rental contracts, qualifying renters, performing signature "pick up" service, and developing relationships with customers. Additional duties include monitoring rentals for proper extensions and payments, interfacing with body shop, vehicle dealerships, and insurance adjusters for updates to rental contracts, and conducting sales calls to current and potential accounts.
Responsibilities include becoming self-sufficient and preparing to take test to become a Management Assistant. While a MT, was given a satellite branch inside Freedom Ford Hampton's service department to run. Successfully managed to turn an unprofitable branch around and increase profits and fleet size while lowering costs and increasing customer satisfaction ratings. Built rapport with service writers, dealership president, and sales department. Created repeat customers and grew retail and corporate sectors of the business. Successfully re-gained business from nearby Hampton Collision Body shop to increase days on rent numbers and insurance business sector.
Promoted to Assistant Manager of largest location in region as first management assignment
