School Food Service Manager
Direct the overall operation of school food services programs within New York City Public Schools and non-public school programs. Maintain controls management and assist in instructing new and veteran managers with onsite management strategy, menu planning, recipe standardization, supplies and equipment training, food storage handling and food preparation. Interpret and administer union contract; training development, ensure 100% guest satisfaction and food sanitation guidelines.Serve as a community liaison within the foodservice department and school administration. Daily relationship building with the PTA, school principles, school custodians and all other school adminstration to create a healthly dinning experience.
