International Sabbatical


My future wife and I lived the good life in the South of Spain for five months.

We taught English to primary school children through the Spanish Ministry of Education, traveled to seven countries, and learned:

I taught English at a primary and secondary school in Cuevas del Almanzora, Spain. I also prepared lessons for a conversational English class for English Teachers. Lastly, and most importantly, I learned the language, about the culture and more about myself; it was a truly rewarding experience.
