Media Relations Assistant/Farm Hand

Implemented a marketing plan to promote organic farming, community supported agriculture, and the local farmer’s market within the Dickinson College and Carlisle communities. Created unit-level brochures, posters, and presentation boards to encourage Dickinson College students to get involved with upcoming volunteer sessions and events. Produced a self-guided podcast tour to educate visitors and the local community about organic farming. Improved the farm’s online presence by restructuring the farm’s website using Ektron (CMS) & HTML. Worked as a farm hand on weekends to learn more about organic farming.
