UC Santa Barbara

Bachelor's Degree, Film/Media Studies

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Media Studies from UC Santa Barbara, an Associate's Degree in Sociology. I've also studied Library and Information Science, with a focus on film archiving and preservation, at SJSU in the MLIS program. In 2013, I was selected as a Salzburg Fellow, and attended the Global Citizenship Program for Administrators in Salzburg, Austria. The seminar helped me develop innovative ways to internationalize learner experiences, which is something I am passionate about. I love to travel, and one of my other passions lies in learning new languages; I have studied German, French, and Russian, and am currently learning Spanish. In my free time, you can find me reading, sewing, gardening and repurposing items for the home I share with my boyfriend and two kitties.
