Help desk specialist

Receive and respond to users’ calls and e-mails regarding software and hardware related issues on IT systems and resolve the users' issues or gather necessary information and place the Help Desk ticket in the queue for resolution by other IT team members. By monitoring Help Desk tickets, you'll coordinate with technicians to evaluate and prioritize tickets to ensure timeliness of IT requests
Work with vendors for quotes on hardware and software purchases.
Monitor the IBM mid-range systems by responding to system messages and rerouting batch job queues and print queues.
Maintain hardware and software inventory databases and coordinate the removal and/or disposal of old equipment and complete basic requests for installing, configuring, and optimizing software and PC hardware
Process user security changes for systems, including new user setup, changes for existing users, administering security groups, etc.

Make and receive credit calls.
Ability to make credit decisions based on application information
Ability to read credit bureau information from multiple bureaus.
Prepare and maintain various reports.
Maintain up-to-date records in system.
Collection and allocation of payments.
Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
Monitor client account details for non payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.
Follow established procedures for processing credit applications.
Investigate and resolve customer queries.
