Dr. Andrews has extensive experience managing large, multi-component implementation evaluation and training and technical assistance projects. She has led studies around the development and evaluation of teen pregnancy prevention programs, the evaluation of afterschool and youth development programs and has extensive experience in both qualitative research and analysis and in providing training and technical assistance to program providers. In addition to technical assistance and facilitation, she has extensive experience working on the ground with program providers to improve program delivery, measure outcomes and strengthen performance management. Her other past work includes coordinating and delivering a workshop series entitled: Becoming an Evidence-Based Program to practitioners focused on performance management and linking program activities to outcomes, a recent presentation at the annual Teen Pregnancy Prevention grantee conference on supporting expectant and parenting teens, and a presentation on readiness for evaluation at the annual American Evaluation Association conference.
