As Director of Special Projects I am responsible for event planning, assisting in the creative process, resource development, new relationships, technical writing and training.

Development, planning, budgeting and implementation of organization wide special events.
Special focus on fundraising for the divisions of professionals, including the areas doctors, dentists and attorneys.
Graphics, design layout, photography, assisting the Director of Marketing with developing collateral materials to be distributed county-wide.
Research and identify format, design and vendor to replace outdated website. Creation and implementation of new website including overseeing the design process, content creation and layout with use of proprietary content management system.
Creation of Women’s Leadership Council board and activities, to include recruitment, planning of annual fundraiser and quarterly speaker’s bureau luncheon for women in leadership positions in Lake County and surrounding areas.
Increased annual fundraiser sponsorship, attendance and funds raised by 500 and 300 percent over previous year, respectively.
Budgeting for the year and for specific events, to include securing sponsorships and grants from area companies and corporations.
Community involvement and networking to develop new relationships for development of volunteers and fundraising campaign.
Research and implementation of new online donation system to include the training process internally and to external donors.
Social media content management for Facebook to keep donors apprised of our events and outcomes and to stay involved with other organizations in the community.
Creating new social media strategy and tactics for upcoming campaign year.

Vanek Plastic Surgery

Cosmetic Coordinator and Director of Marketing

As Cosmetic Coordinator and Director of Marketing for a plastic surgery practice I was responsible for being the primary contact for all cosmetic patients from inquiry through post-surgical care. Additional responsibilties included:
Marketing, Public Relations, Budget, Advertising creation and management. Symposium and tradeshow planning and scheduling. Schedule meetings and special projects for physician. Coordinator and Administrator of patient referral program. Vendor contact.
Management of social media program and content which increased traffic to our website, improved reviews online and resulted in growth in Facebook fans from 45 to 1500 (3,200%).
Worked closely with national communications vendors to implement communications plan on time and on budget. Email, media and social media plan was created in house, vendors were responsible for implementation.
Extensive research and implementation of SEO and SEM plan with nationally recognized media organization.

Apex Award winning graphic designer. Responsibilities included special event coordination, campaign liaison, social media specialist, and writing and production of press releases, newsletters, graphics and correspondence.

As a Communications Coordinator I was responsible for planning and execution of annual events and fundraising activities.
Special event coordination, bringing new ideas to annual events which has created increased event earnings and decreased overhead
Graphics and collateral, allowing for graphic designs to be created in-house, saving the organization more than $5,000 per year
iPledge administration, manage online pledging system, created documentation manual, conduct introductory meetings with decision makers and training sessions with end users, analyze campaign donation information through use of spreadsheets
Writing and production of press releases, newsletters and correspondence.
Twitter and Facebook responsibilities including transferring Facebook page with friends to a business page with fans to create local following. Responsible for website updates and research of potential website upgrades and design.

Utilizing my expertise, enthusiasm, and commitment to community improvement, my role was to expand and achieve the fundraising goals of United Way by reaching out to new markets and broadening the base of community giving.
