DEVELOP, MANAGE, IMPLEMENT, AND PROMOTE THE IOWA ONLINE AP® ACADEMY (IOAPA), AP® TEACHER TRAINING INSTITUTE (APTTI) AND ASSOCIATED PROGRAMMING
-Connect middle school and high school students in under-served communities with online advanced coursework opportunities.
-Have expanded programming by 100% within two years and cut costs by 50%.
-Prepare Iowa AP Index rankings.
-Direct the Advanced Placement® Teacher Training Institute, a week-long professional development event for nearly 150 secondary teachers annually.
-Manage program budgets up to $481,000 and generate detailed budget reports.
-Serve on internal collaborative teams to advise, promote, and plan initiatives for various programs related to educational interventions and STEM initiatives.
-Promoted multiple programs through press interviews, flyers, signs, videos, social media posts, and newsletter content.
-Represent programs and advocate for students at local education agencies, as well as state and national conferences.
-Develop and maintain program websites by designing content layout, writing content, and updating resources.
