Provide HR and communications support to a $1.7 billion business with over 32,000 employees in 365 locations. Assist VP of HR with design/implementation of various HR programs (Awards and Recognition, Diversity Council, Succession Planning, FMLA, etc). Serve as Training Coordinator by selecting and informing candidates, coordinating schedules, sending out selection letters, and maintaining training database and files. Administer and coordinate the Performance Recognition System at a business unit level. Serve on the Awards and Recognitions team by handling incentive programs, Stock Options, SM Awards Program, SRA and Lightning budgets, and any external award nominations. Serve on the Diversity team by participating on all Diversity Council meetings and initiatives. Maintain reporting, performance metrics, and analysis for LMSM departments. Support the Director of Communications in developing newsletter, product sheets, media pitches, press releases, and sales packages for external customers. Participate in the TSA communications and public relations plan through designing ad pitches, established a media plan, wrote press releases, and developed an emergency action plan for the media.
Recruited to strategically lead the professional recruitment marketing efforts for Parks and Resorts Professional Agency and Aulani. Efforts include development of all recruitment strategies and campaigns, media planning, marketing metrics and creative production.
Primary touch point for SSC IT communications by partnering with the User Awareness Officer to communicate organizational vision and branding. Responsibilities include interfacing with SSC Communications personnel on content and distribution venues for material disseminated on an SSC-wide basis-preparing and disseminating IT urgent and non-urgent communications, identifying appropriate communications vehicles and ensuring consistency of content and format of IT communications. Create and maintain partnerships with highly technical colleagues as well as with senior management personnel, and across a broad range of organizations and able to communicate effectively to all levels of personnel, from entry level to executive management. Implement new communication vehicles in social media as well as utilizing collaboration tools such as MOSS, Unity, and internal tools. Shared responsibility for leading Structured Improvement Activities and Integrated Product Teams within the organization to define business rhythms, assist in developing Strategic Plan for marketing and communications, and to assist in the definition of operational excellence, two way communications, and full spectrum leadership for CIO and IT organization.
Responsible for the management and strategy development of entry level recruitment efforts ensuring a talented and diverse workforce. all event planning and execution of recruiting activities such as career fairs, information sessions, campus interview days, career development seminars, student organization activities, candidate dinners, and diversity events. Development and facilitation of mentoring workshops and career/professional development workshops. Delivered employee and manager briefings and developed/delivered On Campus Recruiter Training for all levels of Lockheed Martin organization. Manage relationships with both internal and external clients not limited to the Corporation, Business Unit Managers, Campus Career Centers, Regional Recruiting Centers, and Candidates. Prepare Strategic and Operational Plans for each school and all on campus activities. Assist in process improvement efforts by developing a streamlined methodology for training materials, metrics, and reporting. Increased retention rate of incoming first year students through marketing college and Residence Life programs. Responsible for the creation of a New Student Orientation Weekend which included budgeting, scheduling, planning, vendor support, and communication to incoming students, faculty, and Administration staff.
