I have a passion for women's health and social issues. Ultimately, I want women to realize just how cool it is to be brave, to take risks and to cheer each other on.

After getting swept up in the inner workings of how a successful online magazine runs, I truly fell in love with the Hearst work atmosphere. Collaboration with my team members proved to be one of my favorite parts of the internship.
I had the opportunity to absorb what was going on in not only my own backyard, but in the rest of the world. This experience made me sure that I wanted to write about topics that could move and shake a reader.
I took advantage of the fact that I got to write about lifestyle and women's issues. I realized that being a voice for women was a passion that I was quickly gravitating toward.
Going to a small school helped me make connections and close relationships with professors and fellow Journalism students. Writing and editing for HerCampus.com/TCNJ throughout college provided the foundation I needed to pursue a career in writing.
My strength is being relational. That makes sense, since I always strive to help, inform and commiserate with readers. I'm also analytical and a bit procedural.Find out yours!
