Talent Scout Supervisor

I served as the only liaison between the regional manager and the Pittsburgh division of Models, Inc. My responsibilities were to manage the talent scouts and report to the regional manager. This included the interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, and firing of talent scouts for each location in Pittsburgh; Scouting for talent ranging in age from four to ninety years old; Judging talent auditions every weekend, and discussing, with the other judges, which models to bring back for contract interviews; Interviewing potential models, securing contracts, signatures, and payments, and scheduling models for photo shoots; Overseeing the photo shoots to ensure the models were comfortable and that proper procedures were followed; Constantly being available to all talent scouts, contract models, and potential talent via phone and email; Keeping the regional manager apprised of all Pittsburgh operations.

Responsibilities included, but were not limited to opening/closing the bar; creating liquor and beer orders; maintaining accurate inventory databases; ordering miscellaneous supplies; balancing the register after shifts; mixing popular and personally invented drinks, as well as beer and wine service; maintaining excellent customer service; maintaining awareness of each individual, as well as monitoring the overall vibe of the establishment in order to preempt unsavory circumstances from occurring, and to tactfully and cleverly mitigate disputes in order to arrive at an amicable resolution.
